Work is underway on Mayo Clinic Hospital. Steel is going up on the Mayo Building, and workers are drilling to build a foundation for the six-story nursing tower. The $254.6 million, 214-bed hospital is scheduled to open in 2008. Mayo Clinic patients will then be treated at a single location for all their health care needs.
