Cerebral Palsy

Types

Different classifications of cerebral palsy include:

Spastic — stiff muscles and difficult movement (most common form)

Dyskinetic or athetoid — abnormal movements such as twisting or jerking

Ataxic — tremors, unsteady gait, and loss of coordination (least common form)

Mixed — any combination of the different types
