VASCULAR ACCESS TECHNICIAN
Daily Tasks
Draws blood from patients for testing and places intra-venous lines used for monitoring and delivering medications. Works closely with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and the hospital clinical laboratory.

Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Qualifications
Experience in one of the following areas required: phlebotomy, arterial puncture or IV placement. Average strength, ability to use multiple computer systems, some knowledge of medical terminology.
