Assists nursing staff with patient care in the hospital setting. Duties include monitoring vital signs, assisting in feeding and bathing patients and escorting patients to tests.

Complete both a long-term nursing assistant class and hospital nursing assistant class through a vocational school; or, have completed the required portion of a RN program; or, have nursing assistant experience in a hospital setting.

| Qualifications |
|
Candidates must become certified in basic cardiac life support.
