Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Excellent knowledge of English usage, grammar, punctuation and style. Good eye-hand coordination and hearing abilities. Strong knowledge of computers, word processing software and dictation/transcription equipment. Typing ability of 60 words per minute. Successful completion of Mayo Clinic's entry-level medical transcription test.
