| Daily Tasks |

Help patients and families with medically-related psychological/environmental problems through assessments, counseling, referrals and guidance during hospitalization and outpatient treatment. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to meet the patient needs and optimize access to care. |

Must have strong communications and human relations skills, ability to interact with a wide variety of people, organizational skills, ability to use good judgment.

|
Outpatient clinical or hospital setting.

| Work Hours |
|
Primarily day shifts, Monday - Friday, with some on-call requirements. Provide 24-hour coverage.

| Education |
|
Master's degree in social work from an accredited program with at least one year of supervised practice in a medical setting.
|

| Qualifications |
|
Current Minnesota licensure for social work.
