| Daily Tasks |
|
Processes patient blood and body fluids that are delivered to the laboratory 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Duties include sorting, centrifuging, and delivering specimens to the appropriate testing laboratories in a timely and efficient manner. Reports test results and maintains a long-term specimen storage system; serves as a resource for others regarding specimen handling and processing; and identifies problems and works to resolve them.
