| Daily Tasks |

Food service workers help assemble hot and cold food items, inventory food products, restock supplies as needed on patient floors, greet patients when delivering patient trays, relay patient needs to nursing or supervisory staff, dishwashing and cleanup.

| Skills/Talents |
|
Positive personality, people skills, must enjoy interacting with patients, detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated. Must be able to work independently and with large diverse work group, and have a desire to work with our team to provide excellent food products to our patients.

| Work Setting |
|
Hospitals, staff and visitor cafeterias, long-term care facilities, community health centers, adult day care programs, park and recreation departments, school systems, correctional facilities, community centers for people with disabilities, and substance abuse centers.
|

| Work Hours |
|
Hours are from 10 to 30 hours per week. Employees are scheduled for a variety of shifts. Day and evening hours available. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

| Qualifications |
|
Food service experience preferred. On-the-job training will be provided.
