Clinical dietitians help patients maintain good nutrition by planning for their nutritional care based on their medical needs. Dietitians develop medical nutrition therapy standards, along with educational materials and provide guidance to dietetic technicians, nutrition assistants, dietetic intern students and newly hired staff.
