In partnership with Secondary Education Programs, Mayo Clinic provides high school students with an opportunity to work approximately 15 hours per week. The type of work will vary depending on the department's needs, but the work will be a learning experience for the student as well as value added for the department. With this experience, students will earn school credit and pay for their efforts.
Mayo Clinic is currently reviewing the experience of the recent pilot program to determine the next steps in the Work-Study program. The review will include possible expansion and potential school partners. Mayo Clinic will offer invitations to a limited number of school partners to match limited resources and opportunities available.
