Due to limited resources, most of Mayo's Career Awareness Program tools can be offered only to a limited number of schools and students. The Web site however, has no such limits. Mayo created the Career Awareness Web Site for students, teachers and parents in southeastern and southwestern Minnesota, the Twin Cities metro area, Western Wisconsin and Northern Iowa.

The site is an evolving tool. Currently 57 health-care occupations are highlighted under the career exploration path. We will be adding to this in the coming months. Mayo also plans to develop some classroom education tools for educators, such as a resume-writing tool and an interviewing tool, which could be used in career exploration/preparation classes and curriculum.

We hope this site will become an avenue for ongoing communication with educators and students. We plan to use the site to promote:

• New programs
• Job opportunities
• Partnership opportunities
• Upcoming events
