Cardiac Catheterization

Treatment in Minnesota

The staff in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota performs more than 7,000 procedures every year. The staff works closely with Interventional Cardiology Clinic staff to assist people who need same-day cardiac catheterization.

Your primary doctor or local cardiologist should refer you to the Interventional Cardiology Clinic. In most cases, Mayo Clinic doesn't require a physician referral. Some insurers require referrals, or may have additional requirements for certain medical care. Generally, Mayo Clinic doctors can see you the next day.

Appointments

For appointments or more information, call the Central Appointment Office at 507-538-3270 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central time, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday or complete an online appointment request form.
