Doctors who have training in cardiac catheterization procedures (interventional cardiologists) from the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases perform catheterization in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Typically, you need a referral from your primary doctor or evaluation by a Mayo Clinic cardiologist before making an appointment.
