Mayo Clinic in Minnesota treats patients with the therapy options described on these pages. Physicians at Mayo Clinic have been treating carcinoid tumors for more than 40 years.

Treatment Team

Mayo Clinic surgeons and other health care professionals work together to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient. A collaborative team of experienced medical and surgical specialists determines the best treatment for each patient. The treatment team for patients with carcinoid tumors includes physicians from Oncology, Gastroenterologic and General Surgery, Radiation Oncology and other departments, as needed.
