Mayo Graduate School creates opportunities for the best and brightest student scientists to lead the way in the future of biomedical research. Approximately 130 to 180 scientific publications per year include graduate students as authors. Over half of these publications have a Mayo Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. student as first author, demonstrating their principal role on research topics that range from basic discovery to disease mechanisms.
