Breast Diagnostic Clinic

The Breast Diagnostic Clinic (BDC) evaluates and treats patients with a variety of breast-related concerns or complications, including:

• New breast lump
• Breast pain
• Nipple discharge
• Changes in breast skin
• Family history of breast cancer
• Breast cancer risk assessment
• Abnormal mammogram

The clinic services include coordination with Breast Imaging and Intervention for screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and interventional procedures (image-guided cyst aspirations and needle biopsies). The BDC also works with the Breast Cancer Clinic, surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, plastic surgery and genetics, depending upon the patient's needs.
