Treatment of Children

Mayo Clinic's Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Ablation Laboratory is a national leader in catheter ablation and implantable devices. The laboratory staff uses the most advanced technology to treat arrhythmias. Patients of all ages with heart arrhythmias have been diagnosed and treated in the lab at Mayo Clinic for more than 25 years. The laboratory staff has performed more than 10,000 electrophysiology procedures during the past five years.

Mayo Clinic's Implantable Device Clinic in Minnesota implants more than 1,300 devices each year and monitors more than 4,000 patients regularly.
