Brachial Plexus Injuries

Treatment

Specialists at Mayo Clinic perform approximately 150 brachial plexus operations each year. These procedures may involve nerve, bone/joint, muscle or tendon. Physicians from neurosurgery, orthopedics, neurology and physical medicine and rehabilitation team to provide the most appropriate treatment program for each patient.

Treatment depends on the type and severity of the of brachial plexus injury. A combination of physiotherapy and independent recovery or surgery may be recommended.
