Botox

About

Botox injections are considered outpatient cosmetic surgery procedures. They can be combined with injection of other facial fillers for wrinkles.

Botox injections are done in the doctor's office and take only a few minutes. You may have a temporary burning, throbbing or stinging sensation. Rarely, bruising, swelling, infection and slight redness may occur. Final results appear in five to seven days. Touch-up injections can be done two weeks after the initial Botox injection session. The cosmetic effects usually last about three months, but can last longer.
