David L. Joyce, M.D.

My name is David Joyce. I'm one of the cardiovascular surgeons at the Mayo Clinic. If I ever needed any treatment or if a family member needed to be cared for, I would have no question that this would be the best place for them to go.

And I think if a patient comes here and they have a problem that has been deemed incurable elsewhere, invariably we're able to come up with a strategy that will help them feel better and offer them the best possible solution for their problem. Having access to all the latest technology, all of the new techniques that are out there, having all of that at our disposal, along with the expertise of a team that is very experienced in handling even very obscure diagnoses, that I think for most patients that's a real advantage.
