Joleen M. Hubbard, M.D., is a medical oncologist with special interest in gastrointestinal cancers. Her clinical focus includes multidisciplinary care for gastrointestinal cancers, including:

  • Colorectal cancer
  • Esophageal cancer
  • Gastric cancer
  • Hepatobiliary cancer
  • Pancreatic cancer
  • Small bowel cancer
  • Neuroendocrine cancer
  • Anal cancer

Dr. Hubbard's research interests include the development of new therapies for gastrointestinal cancers, particularly in the area of colorectal cancer. Her research activities include:

  • Seeing patients in the Early Cancer Therapeutics Clinic
  • Principal investigator of multiple clinical trials for patients with gastrointestinal cancer
  • Geriatric oncology clinical research

Dr. Hubbard is also the director of the gastrointestinal oncology subspecialty fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
