Biographical summary
Thomas R. Flipse, M.D., is an Electrophysiologist with a special interest in aviation medicine and physiology. He performs aviation related cardiology consults to assist airmen with cardiology related conditions to obtain a Special Issuance from the FAA allowing them to continue flying. He is also an FAA AME. Dr. Flipse's clinical interests include cardiac dysrhythmias and conduction system disease. He is the medical director of the Cardiac Device Clinic, and he performs implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators and addresses complications from existing devices.
