Research Interests All aspects of benign foregut disease, including physiology of normal and abnormal esophageal function, clinical outcomes following corrective therapies and new operative techniques and therapies; clinical outcomes following operative management of GI diseases, especially laparoscopic operations; use of new technology and simulation in surgical education; development and validation of proficiency based curriculum for skills training.
