The Patient and Health Education Library resources are available for patients and family members to explore a variety of health care topics. Medical textbooks, consumer health books, brochures, journals, health letters and models are available. Computer-linked, consumer health Web sites are available as well as additional assistance offered through the medical librarian.
The patient lounge, located on the Concourse level, offers food and beverage vending machines, microwaves, television, tables and chairs, telephones (including TDD) and a separate reclining area for you to enjoy between appointments.
The Patient Cafeteria, located on the first floor, is open from 6:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
The Gift Shop, located on the Concourse level, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and features Southwestern gifts, jewelry, and decorative items; cards, stationery, magazines, books and newspapers; and many Mayo logo items.
For the convenience of our patients, we offer outpatient pharmacies at the clinic and hospital. Prescriptions from Mayo Clinic physicians can be filled at either one of these pharmacies. Preparation materials for tests and examinations may also be purchased.
At the clinic, the Pharmacy is located on the first floor. The clinic Pharmacy hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mayo Clinic Specialty Pharmacy helps patients with serious chronic diseases (such as multiple sclerosis and hemophilia) manage their medications.
Humanities in Medicine brings the art, history and music to Mayo patients.
A scenic nature trail is located east of the main clinic entrance. Visit the nature trail any time between sunrise and sunset.
