Two Internet connections are available for personal laptop computers. There is a 30-minute time limit if people are waiting. Printing is free for up to five pages; beyond that, there is a 10-cent fee per page.

Computers with Internet access are also available for patient use in the lobbies of the Gonda Building, floors two through 10.

Computers are available in the patient libraries at Rochester Methodist Hospital and Saint Marys Hospital.

CarePages

Mayo Clinic now offers CarePages, a free Web service for our patients while they are at Mayo, to help them keep in touch with loved ones back home and elsewhere. Through CarePages, family members can post messages, updates and even pictures efficiently and quickly. Loved ones can respond with messages of support and encouragement. Families often find CarePages easier to use than making and receiving multiple phone calls.

CarePages can be created or visited by anyone with Internet access. The service is confidential, secure and private. See www.carepages.com/mayoclinic.
