Jacksonville is served by the Amtrak system. The Amtrak station is located on the west side of the city, about 18 miles from Mayo Clinic.

A limited number of oversized spaces are available in clinic parking lots for recreational vehicles. Neither water nor electrical hookups are available, and overnight stays are not permitted at Mayo Clinic or the Mayo Clinic hospital.
