Minnesota

To make an appointment to be evaluated for gastric bypass surgery, call one of the phone numbers listed below. The process usually takes about 6 to 12 months from the initial appointment to actually having surgery. Many people make an appointment for a preliminary evaluation at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota that may last two to three days. For people from out of town, Mayo Clinic will often then refer them to a doctor in their hometown who will complete the rest of the evaluation. Then the person returns to Minnesota for the surgery.
