Nationally-recognized electrophysiologists, cardiologists with specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, staff the EP services. The EP services staff provides a patient-centered, team approach. The staff uses the newest, most advanced technologies to provide patients with the most accurate and comprehensive treatment for their heart rhythm problems. Eligible patients also have access to emerging technology through clinical trials.
Electrophysiologists perform electrophysiology studies (EPS) and catheter ablation. They also implant cardiac devices used to treat slow heart rates, life-threatening heart rhythms and heart failure. Procedures are performed in a state-of-the-art lab with a dedicated staff specifically trained for these procedures.
Cardiovascular laboratories offer specialized diagnostic and treatment procedures for cardiovascular patients. They also conduct extensive research programs.
