Mayo's Electrophysiology and Pacemaker Services is active in all aspects of diagnosing and caring for adults with heart rhythm problems. Electrophysiologists are cardiologists with specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. This specialized training includes performing electrophysiologic (EP) testing, a procedure for diagnosing potentially serious arrhythmias.
