Types

Treatment of anemia is individualized, depending on the type of anemia you have and whether you have other medical conditions. In addition to the types of anemia listed below, there are other forms, such as anemia caused by chronic diseases and hemolytic anemias (which destroy red blood cells faster than bone marrow can replace them).
