Research

Mayo Clinic researchers are conducting a number of clinical trials related to the treatment of amyloidosis. These include experimental treatments, often unavailable elsewhere, which frequently lead to improved patient care for people worldwide. Mayo Clinic researchers are also working in laboratories, trying to find out what causes amyloidosis and ways in which this knowledge can be used to develop better treatments. Patients should ask their doctor at Mayo about clinical trials appropriate for their situation.
