Treatment Team

Experienced Mayo Clinic surgeons and other health care professionals work together to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient. Patients with ampullary carcinoma are evaluated and treated by physicians from Gastroenterology and Hepatology, General Surgery, Radiation Oncology and other specialties, as needed. Jacksonville surgeons are experienced in procedures involving the pancreas, averaging more than 100 major pancreas surgeries a year.
