Mayo Clinic is the private, not-for-profit health care organization that includes integrated group practices, hospitals and programs in biomedical research and education. The Mayo system comprises facilities in three locations. Prospective fellows may indicate a preferred location on their application materials. Current fellows have the opportunity to rotate to a campus other than the one where they are based.
Rochester, Minnesota
The Rochester campus consists of Mayo Clinic, Rochester Methodist Hospital and Saint Marys Hospital. Together these three partners form the world's largest private medical center. More than 1,400 physicians and scientists, 1,600 medical residents and students, and 21,000 administrative and allied health personnel support Mayo Clinic's activities in Rochester.

Jacksonville, Florida
Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville opened in 1986 to meet the demand for Mayo services in the Southeast. Today, its staff consists of 280 physicians and scientists and 4,400 support personnel. Inpatient care is provided at Mayo Clinic hospital, a 214-bed hospital on the Mayo Clinic campus.
Arizona
Since opening in 1987, Mayo Clinic in Arizona has provided care for more than 600,000 patients from all 50 states and 80 countries. Mayo Clinic Hospital, a 178-bed facility, opened in 1998. More than 270 physicians and scientists and 3,300 allied health personnel support Mayo activity in Scottsdale. In addition, the clinic is part of an integrated, multicampus system that includes seven primary care centers in the Valley of the Sun.
