All treatment and diagnostic options for adnexal tumors are available at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Gynecologic oncologists offer comprehensive services and specialize in complex cancers requiring radical pelvic surgery or reconstructive procedures. Patients who require hospitalization are admitted to Mayo Clinic hospital, a 214-bed hospital on the Jacksonville campus.

The patient's care team includes a gynecologic oncologist and physicians specializing in chemotherapy, radiation therapy and pathology, as well as nurses and research coordinators. The team jointly manages the patient's care. Every Wednesday morning, physicians and their staffs meet to discuss patients' treatment, clinical trials, new developments, and research aspects of gynecologic oncology. The gynecologist oncologist and radiation oncologist together see each patient to do a physical exam and discuss treatment options.
