Mayo Clinic Heritage Hall
Celebrating the Values and Vision of Mayo Clinic
Welcome to Mayo Clinic Heritage Hall. This museum celebrates the values and vision of Mayo Clinic. It links our history with our current activities and our plans for the future — highlighting the key role of philanthropy in supporting the mission of Mayo Clinic. You will find our museum at Mayo Clinic locations in Minnesota, Arizona and Florida.
Mayo Clinic Heritage Hall opened in 2004 with a generous gift from John T. and Lillian G. Mathews. It is managed by the Department of Development. The museum is a vibrant part of Mayo Clinic thanks to the support of many colleagues, friends, volunteers and benefactors.
We are open without charge from 8:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The museum is an amenity for patients, staff and visitors of Mayo Clinic. To ensure the privacy of our patients, we regret that we cannot accommodate public and school tours.
When you are on one of our campuses in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jacksonville, Florida and Rochester, Minn., please visit us to discover what Dr. William J. Mayo called "the spirit of the Clinic."
We have a main location on every Mayo Clinic campus. We also support other heritage-related exhibits in diverse locations on each campus.
Our museum is located on the concourse level of the main clinic building.
Mayo Clinic Heritage Hall is located in the James E. and Florence N. Davis Lobby and Gallery of the hospital at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
Mayo Clinic Heritage Hall is located in the Mathews Grand Lobby, street level of the Mayo Building.
